GENERAL NURSING (GNM)

General Nursing or GNM is a three-year diploma course designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery. GNM courses are designed to prepare the students for the clinical approach of handling patients. The GNM course at SHEAT College of Paramedical has been designed to enable eligible candidates to address the health needs of the country, community and individuals.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:

  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are alsc eligible from State Open School recognized Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open Schoo (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the schoo recognized by Indian Nursing council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
  • Registered ANM with pass mark.
